Fantastic up and down the field polo was played today.. Young guns Haydn Walsh & Devon Kahle just flying and not missing on some challenging plays.
Coleman Replogle is back and we saw some flashes of brilliance...the Replogle way is to charge to the front and carry the ball down the field...Coleman certainly carried on the tradition of more than 20 years, galloping out at the front..despite suffering from a little bit of the flu!!
The most popular goal of the day was set up by Max Secunda for Shamrock with a long pass to Haydn Walsh who in turn passed to Dad John. John stayed steady and scored.
Welcome to Phillip Miles from PA & Destiny Farms to Vero Polo. Phillip had some beautiful horses and was always in the thick of things. Never backing down and chasing down every play.
George as we have come to expect kept things in order for Rocking K with very solid play from the back.
In the end Shamrock pulled ahead and won this first game of 2012.
